Expert due diligence reports.

Tailored to you.

“Intelligence”

The ability to learn, understand and make judgements or have opinions that are based on reason (Cambridge Dictionary definition)

We deliver intelligence-based due diligence and research reports that rely on our knowledge of the availability and accessibility of open source information (OSINT) globally, and the skill of our analyst team to assess that information and interpret it to respond to the unique requirements of each of our clients.

When and where appropriate and necessary, we consult subject matter experts to form an opinion on the issue in question.

Our reports and services are used by compliance teams, M&A teams, private equity groups, government departments, research teams, litigators, security teams and others who require exhaustive research and analysis of all available information delivered in an appropriate, timely and relevant format.

Our Philosophy

We believe in the value of expertly trained analysts over the excessive use of compliance-oriented search tools. Algorithms and AI, have a place in sifting through large data sets but it is increasingly important to understand where the data sets are and what, of relevance, is contained in them, as well as, more importantly, what is missing or inaccurate. For example, a corporate registry in a particular country may not allow popular compliance based search engines access to their data, and as such, it is imperative that an analyst knows that a search involving that country must be conducted directly.

Our analysts are trained to ask questions of the data they search, to look for links and question the obvious whilst looking for the less-obvious. To apply their ingenuity and instinct; to be relentless in their research and to think for the client: Can we? Should we? Can we say that we did all we could to validate this relationship?

  • Searches in the first language, in Arabic for example, inevitably realise more nuanced and data rich results, than searches conducted through a translation service or in a second language, regardless of fluency. We value ‘first language’ search skills.

  • An understanding of culture, history and politics/commerce in each jurisdiction is invaluable in order to be able to present relevant and appropriate judgements based on our research. We train our analysts to develop their knowledge and specialise in certain jurisdictions according to their interests, backgrounds and skills.

  • We want our analysts to flourish and benefit from the skills and experience of working on complex, multi-jurisdictional projects for our clients. We aim to equip our team with valuable skills, applicable to all manner of future employment as they move on through their working lives.
